Spooky season is the launch of crafters’ big money-making season. Specifically, Halloween and Christmas are the two times of the year that people go all out decorating their homes, offices and cars with festive holiday-inspired things.
Now, it seems a bit early to start thinking about Halloween… it’s August for goodness sake, but now is the time. It gives you 1 month to research and conceive designs, gather all of your supplies from your favorite small business craft retailer (wink wink) and get to work creating.
Yes, gory, blood dripping, spooky-ooky things are hot sellers, but this year, glam goth and pastel Halloween decorations are making a surge. So, don’t sleep on the girly side of Halloween.
This year, in addition to our blood drips and slime drips made with puffy paint and quick cure epoxy, we are adding STONES! It’s time to invest in some texture and embellish your creations with stones of all varieties.
